5 easy ways you can cut back on plastic when on the go:

 1. HOT DRINKS: Bring your own cup, or take a minute or two to drink it at the cafe/shop using their cups

2. WATER BOTTLES: bring your own reusable water bottle, this is a simple one but so important!

3. NO STRAWS: Make sure you request “no straw please”, or alternatively bring your own reusable straw

4. BAGS: Always, always have a reusable bag tucked away for those last-minute purchases. Alternatively, ask for a box or paper bag.

5.  FOOD: Take 5 extra minutes to eat food at the sh op instead of getting takeaway containers. Don’t have time? Have a spare container with you to use, or worst comes to worse always have handy little reusable cutlery  with you. Every little bit counts!

These small changes add up, imagine how many pieces of single-use plastic that would cut out across a month, a year, 5 years? Your decisions now make a big difference for the future.
